Job Description:
Coffee News, a popular free publication in Central Alberta, is seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Paper Delivery Driver to distribute our weekly editions to rural locations. This position requires delivering to approximately 300 locations, including Rimbey, Gull Lake, Bentley, Lacombe, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Gasoline Alley, Penhold, and Springbrook.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver Coffee News newspapers to designated locations once a week.
– Ensure timely and accurate distribution to all assigned locations.
– Maintain a delivery log and report any issues or delays.
– Ensure the safe and secure handling of newspapers during transport.
– Interact professionally with clients and business owners at delivery points.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
– Reliable vehicle capable of transporting newspapers.
– Ability to lift and carry bundles of newspapers.
– Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
– Strong knowledge of rural areas surrounding Red Deer, including Rimbey, Gull Lake, Bentley, Lacombe, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Gasoline Alley, Penhold, and Springbrook.
– Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Schedule:
– One day per week.
Compensation:
– $18.75/hour, plus mileage reimbursement of $25/week
