Position: Property Maintenance Person / Handyman

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Person / Handyman to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repairs, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently. This position involves performing routine maintenance, addressing repair needs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
– Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
– Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
– Maintain and repair HVAC systems, appliances, and fixtures
– Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
– Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
– Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance as needed
– Collaborate with property managers and other staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance worker
– Strong knowledge of various repair and maintenance tasks
– Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
