Dispatcher

We are currently looking for an Experienced Semi- Truck Dispatcher to start in Mississauga to take over our Multi axle board.

– Skills and Qualifications:
•Minimum 3 years of experience with Flatbed Multi-axle Trailers
•Experienced in scheduling shipments between Canada & USA. Must have agreat understanding of North American Geography.
•Must have strong understanding of permit requirements for each state (e.g.MI, OH, IN and inter Canada)
•Strong Communication and Multitasking skills
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Knowledge of GPS systems and geography
•Ability to resolve conflict and solve problems
•Knowledge of basic computer programs and aptitude to learn new software systems.

-Job description:
•Planning routes and dispatching drivers in a timely manner.
•Ensuring all necessary permits and routing is correct and legal.
•Working closely with drivers, brokers and customers- Ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
•Ensuring carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
•Dealing with conflict and being able to solve it quickly
