Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for the role of Telephone Sales Agent to join our dynamic team. We work with leading Canadian telecom brands across the GTA, with competitive offers and a robust booking procedure. This position is specifically focused on telephone sales, closing leads that are provided by our office. The goal is to incite and record customer interest in an accurate and professional manner. The focus is on maximizing customer retention and minimizing cancellation risk.
Telecom sales experience is specifically required for this position. We will not follow up with any candidates who do not meet our experience requirements.

Qualifications

– Minimum of 1 year sales experience in Canada required. (Field, retail, door to door, telephone, etc)
– Minimum of 6 months experience in a telecom environment. (Field, retail, door to door, telephone, etc)
– Proficient English speaking and writing skills. Must be able to accurately type information into a computer.
– Possess the initiative and ability to memorize information regarding our products and services, and describe them accurately to potential customers
– Excellent customer service skills. Must be professional and polite at all times.
– Strong conflict resolution skills. Handle objections respectfully and provide customer solutions.
– Candidate must be punctual and committed to their schedules. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated.
– Ability to commute to our office near College Station.

Hours

Weekdays, generally shifts are 10AM-3PM or 3PM-8PM. We ask for three days a week to start. Additional hours can be granted later.

Pay

– Base commission structure.
– Commission paid every 2 weeks for installed sales
– 2-week notice required before quitting, return of all materials (e.g., iPad) mandatory before the payment
