Home Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Home Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in home inspections, be technically oriented, and possess relevant certifications or formal training.

This role offers the unique opportunity to also train as an Energy Advisor, providing you with the skills to assess and recommend energy-efficient solutions for home.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough home inspections to assess the condition of the property, including structural components, systems, and overall safety.
  • Identify and document any issues or potential problems using specialized equipment and software.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports for clients, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answer client questions and explain inspection results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and best practices.
  • Train to become an Energy Advisor, learning the evaluate home energy usage and recommend improvements for efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in home inspections is required.
  • Certification or formal training in home inspections.
  • Strong technical orientation with the ability to use various inspection tools and software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Interest in energy efficiency and willingness to undergo additional training to become an Energy Advisor.
