SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY – ICE CREAM BICYCLE SALES

Looking for a pleasant individual to ride an ice cream bicycle part time from June-Sept (busiest times are in July/August).

Shifts are 5-6 hours long, typically in the afternoon or early evening (example – 12pm-6pm or 1pm-7pm. Some special events may have different hours. Total hours per week would vary from 15-25 hours per week (or more, if desired). You would be operating the bicycle at a leisurely pace. This is a great way to make a good income working outside without having to work long hours all summer.

Duties involve:
-Riding the ice cream bicycle (must be physically fit, but all body types welcome)
-Using Debit/Credit machine
-Notifying your manager when cart stock is getting low
-Monitoring temperature of coolers, and notifying manager if gel pack exchange is needed
-Meeting up with manager to refill cart
-Riding assigned routes and following by-law regulations as per management
-Being pleasant and kind to customers
-Willingness to drive sales
-Assisting with loading and unloading vending equipment to and from vehicle
-Being flexible ( Example – If you are scheduled to work and it’s raining that day, you would need to be okay with having the day off, as the job is weather-dependent)
-Making management aware of when a break is needed so we can watch the cart for you

This job pays 16.50/hour plus tips, and bonuses based on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
