Accounts Payable Administrator

Jump Recruitment Specialists have partnered with C&W Industrial Fabrication & Marine Equipment Ltd. in their search for a full-time permanent, Accounts Payable / Administrative Professional.

WHO THEY ARE:

C & W Industrial is a local leader in the design and manufacturing of processing equipment for food and beverage industries. We also manufacture products for the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and a line of aluminum boats. We specialize in stainless steel, aluminum and exotic metal fabrication.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Business Manager / Controller, the Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for reception duties, creation of documents and entry level accounting responsibilities. You play a critical role in the efficient and accurate processing of invoices. Attention to detail, knowledge of accounting principles and adherence to internal policy & procedures are vital in this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Accounts Payable duties as required
• Match packing slips to invoices and purchase orders
• Receive, review and post invoices from suppliers
• Creation of various documents and reports using MS Office Suite
• Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
• Reception duties
• Other general administrative tasks to support the team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration or relevant program
• Accounts payable experience would be strong asset.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and general computer skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
