AM Warehouse Sorter

Our client, in the Packaging and Logistics Industry is seeking a AM Warehouse Sorter to join their team. The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Job Title: AM Warehouse Sorter
Location: Boxwood RD, Nanaimo, BC V9T5W7
Pay Range: $22.27/hour
Shift: Sunday to Thursday 9:00pm to 5:30am (40 hours per week)

What’s the Job?

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift/lower up to 70 pounds
• Clear criminal history
