Job Title: Part-Time Nanny / Occasional Daytime Babysitter
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description:

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny to provide occasional daytime babysitting for our bright 3.5-year-old daughter. This position is ideal for someone who loves children and is passionate about early childhood development. The nanny will be responsible for ensuring our daughter is safe, happy, and engaged in stimulating activities while both parents are at work.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and loving care for our 3.5-year-old daughter
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to promote her play and development
Prepare and serve snacks and meals as needed
Maintain a clean and safe environment for the child
Follow the family’s daily routine and any specific instructions
Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s activities and well-being
Assist with light housekeeping duties related to the child (e.g., tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals)
Requirements:

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education
Excellent references from previous employers
CPR and First Aid certification
A nurturing and patient personality
Ability to create a fun and educational environment
Strong communication skills
Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with hours
Ability to commit to occasional daytime hours as needed
Non-smoker
Preferred Qualifications:

Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or relevant coursework
Knowledge of child development stages
Creative skills for activities and play (e.g., arts and crafts, storytelling, music)
Working Hours:

Occasional daytime hours based on parents’ work schedules
Flexibility to accommodate varying hours and occasional short notice
Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
