Looking for a part-time sitter/nanny in Gordon Head – $20/hr

Part-time/occasional childcare in Gordon Head
Hi! We are searching for someone kind, reliable, calm and playful to care for our two year old for roughly 5 hours a week, with opportunity for more hours / occasional other days/times. I will be teaching one morning a week for 10 week semesters, 3 semesters a year, as well as occasional freelancing, so some flexibility with afternoons, evenings and weekends would be awesome.
The caregiver/sitter/nanny must be available Tuesdays 8:30am – 1pm starting in September.

-Live out
-our child is two years old
-No driving with child required but having a license, car and car seat is a plus.
-Perfect for someone looking to supplement another job or studies with some flexibility
-No housekeeping required beyond standard keeping things tidy after play and wiping up crumbs/spills
-No pet care required
-$20 / hour

Childcare responsibilities:
-supervision and engaging with our child in age appropriate activities in our home
-child’s snack and lunch will be provided, nanny will be responsible for feeding
-changing diapers
-bringing child to local parks

What we are looking for in a candidate:
-someone with experience and interest in working young children, especially toddlers, or ECE
-someone who is patient, creative, and willing to make an effort to understand our son’s preverbal communication
-good references
-CPR certification
-willing to have police background check done
-we would love to find someone who we can get to know and trust over a period of years.
