Job Title: Large Format Print Operator
Job Summary: The Large Format Print Operator is responsible for day to day print production and cutting. This position requires individual knowledge of large format equipment including techniques for the pre-press, printing, cutting and finishing. This position also requires the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, with detail-oriented organizational and time management skills.
Essential Duties:
• Receive, process and maintain orders for wide format printers to perform colour print services, as well as gather and organize orders based on customer needs, workload and machine capabilities.
• Perform minor maintenance functions, including cleaning, replenishing consumables, calibrations and changing ink cartridges.
• Maintain accurate, sufficient inventory of stock and supplies.
• Efficient communication to Supervisor regarding mechanical maintenance and inventory supply is essential.
• Load, unload and relocate rolls, supplies, and printed materials.
• Accurately maintain necessary filing of required hardcopies/proofs and electronically archived files according to established procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping habits and comply with safety requirements in all facets of work assignments.
• Model non-discriminatory practices in all activities.

Other Duties: Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or any other appropriate administrator.
Job Specifications: The successful candidate for this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
• Must possess High School equivalent.
• some experience in large-format production or any equivalent combination of experience that would provide the noted knowledge, skills and abilities is required.
• Must possess in-depth knowledge of setup and operation of roll to roll printer and cutter.
• Must possess knowledge of Graphic software, PC based, COREL DRAW, COMPOSTER. ADOBE. FLEXI/PRODUCTION HOUSE
