Nanny/house manager needed: the Storbakken Family!

Days: 2-3 days per week (6-8 hours per shift), Note: We can be extremely flexible on dates

Compensation: Paid weekly (Rate to be discussed, starting at $18/hour)We are seeking a responsible and caring part-time nanny to join our family and help things run smoothly for two working parents. You will primarily be with our five-year-old daughter outside of kindergarten hours and while our two older children are in school. In addition to childcare, the ideal candidate will also take on house manager duties to alleviate excess stress, complete a list of tasks that we haven’t gotten to, and be someone that makes us go “thank goodness you’re here”. You like to check off boxes and leave feeling like you did an excellent job and know that you make a difference in our family.

### Key Responsibilities:

– Provide attentive and nurturing care to our five-year-old daughter, and occasionally, our 7 and 9 year old sons.
– Engage in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, reading, and educational games.
– Ensure our children’s safety and well-being at all times

– Assist with light household chores such as:
– Doing some laundry
– Tidying up the house
– Emptying the dishwasher
– Preparing for dinner (basic meal prep)

### Requirements:
– Must have First Aid certification.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and confidence driving with a booster seat and up to three children in the car.
– Previous nanny experience preferred.
– Understand our parenting style and echo how we talk to our children.
– Reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated to taking care of a home as if it were your own.

### Preferred Qualities:
– Prior experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.
– A nurturing and patient demeanor.
– Excellent organizational skills.
– A proactive attitude towards household management tasks.
