WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We’re looking for a Part Time Regular schedule Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be a match for this role if you enjoy working with a small team in the warehouse, fantastic store team members and love being on the road delivering exceptional product to our locations in the Okanagan. You will be joining a team of drivers who share the weekly schedule of deliveries. You’ll need to be available three days per week – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday on the schedule below: Tuesday 5am – 1:30pm Wednesday 9am – 4:30pm Thursday 5am – 1:30pm You are right for the job if you have good communication skills, detail-orientated and enjoy being a part of a collaborative team that gets things done. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Delivery Driving:Delivery of orders between our warehouse and store locations in a safe and timely manner.Delivering product from our warehouse to our locations using Natures Fare Market’s 5 ton reefer cube van. The driving route includes Vernon, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton and Kamloops with home base being Vernon.Delivery day shifts start at 5:30am.Delivery days are Tuesday, Wednesday & ThursdayProduct delivery via 5ton refrigerated cube van (class 5 license required)Loading and unloading pallets of goods (forklift and pallet jack usage is required)Pre and post trip vehicle inspectionsCleanliness of the interior and exterior of the delivery truck WHAT YOU BRING:Must provide a current, BC class 5 abstract & driver’s license Ability to lift up to 40 lbsForklift experience, licensed preferred or ability to obtainExperience driving a 5-ton reefer cube truck and working in a warehouse setting PERKS:Competitive wage of $23.00 per hourUp to 25% store discountFree swag (products, food, clothing more)Share in some laughs, air high-fives, and fun each day Put your passion into work that matters with a growing, BC-based company committed to be a better company for our customers, our employees, and the planet.
