This approach, along with our extreme work ethic, makes us a service provider of choice for many clients.Based out of any of our Ontario office locations, the Geomatics Project Manager who is also a Licensed Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) will report to the Business Unit Director – Energy and will have a wide range of duties. You will be part of a team that provides a full range of traditional surveying and advanced geospatial services to the energy market in Canada, supporting exciting infrastructure projects such as; renewable energy generation, transmission, battery storage, hydroelectric generation, and oil and gas projects. What You’ll Do:The Geomatics Project Manager/OLS will be part of the TULLOCH Geomatics team. You will:Function as Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery including bidding and proposal preparation, project setup, logistics, resource and technical planning and execution, billing and collectionsProvide project updates to Business Unit Directors and General ManagersUndertake project management and professional oversight of cadastral surveys Supervise field crews in the field and remotely from office locationsSupervise drafting staff and QA/QC staff in the creation of survey deliverables relating to engineering surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveysPrepare survey reports, drafting and DTM processing reports, and control survey reportsSign cadastral survey plans and reportsEngage directly with private and public sector clients, applicable government agencies, and other stakeholders to determine and fulfill project and client goals and requirementsBe responsible for internal and external client relations and business developmentWork together with other TULLOCH business lines, including Planning and Engineering, to provide top level integrated services to our clients.Conduct ongoing business development in the form of high-quality and responsive work as well as proactive business development efforts to maintain and grow our client base.Cross-sell TULLOCH’s range of services in the energy sector.Please note that this job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of every duty and responsibility that will ever be required of an employee in the job.Who You Are:You must be a Licenced Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS)You have 5 years experience working in Geomatics project management or a related roleYou have 5 years of professional cadastral surveying experience, preferably in the Energy market You have an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of state-of-the-art land surveying equipment and techniquesYou have an aptitude for business development and exercise independent judgment in alignment with business objectivesYou have experience with total station and GPS equipmentYou understand LIDAR data and collection methodsYou are proficient in CAD platforms and data processing software such as TBCYou understand Ontario Legal Survey information, including legal survey plans, Block maps, Title Records, and associated documentsYou can prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced team environmentYou can travel for site inspections and fieldworkYou have experience working effectively within cross-disciplinary teamsYou are able to travel and complete site inspections and fieldwork when necessaryWhat You Should Bring:The ideal candidate will have a degree in Geomatics Engineering or a related program.
