Job Description:Job Description AGAT Laboratories is a full-service laboratory with locations across Canada. Branch Coordinator The Branch Coordinator is responsible for opening and closing the AGAT facility for daily business operations in Whitehorse, YT. Responsibilities:Provide equipment sourcing and installation as directed by business needsProvide front counter customer service for clients and prospectsPrepare sample container orders for clientsPrepare samples for shippingDrop samples at shipping points (a vehicle is available for use)Oversee the environmental condition of the facility/buildingEnsure that laboratory procedures are adhered to by all personnelCommunicate effectively with other locations and managersOther duties as required Qualifications:Minimum of high school diploma, some post-secondary education is preferredComfort level in working alone is requiredSupervisory Experience a strong assetWorking knowledge of the Mining industry is considered a strong assetStrong communication skillsAbility to multi task and meet deadlines and strong time management skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeSome lifting and carrying (up to 20kgs)Valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract AGAT Laboratories would like to thank all applicants; however only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
