Location: CFB Esquimalt – Accommodations Position Status: Union Reports to: Barrack Concierge Supervisor Wage: $23.22 per hour plus RRSP Job ResponsibilitiesProvide superior customer service to clients Read and understand Maritime Pacific Single Quarter’s RegulationsAct as building Fire WardenComplete check-in and check-out of clients Complete rounds of buildingComplete damage reportsSubmit work orders with Real Property OperationsMaintain key controlMaintain building safety equipment (first aid kits, eye wash stations, emergency showers, earthquake survival kits)Prepare linen exchangesReport to Base Accommodation Officer regarding needs for linen, furniture, supplies, etc.Use Microsoft Office suite of software including: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Work, MS Access, MS PowerPointExtensively use Base Accommodation software (MS Access and QuickQuarters)Use POS equipment to process debit/credit paymentsLiaise with outside agencies such as Preventative Medicine, Real Property Operations, DND Fire Services, and other units to ensure reservations needs are understoodExecute emergency procedures (fire, active shooter, earthquake, building evacuations, etc.) Qualifications and ExperienceMust be legally entitled to work in Canada and obtain a Level II (Secret) security clearanceAbility to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shiftComfortable standing and sitting long periods of time Be an intermediate computer userFluent in the English language – written, verbal and reading skillsHave a positive attitude with a professional demeanourHave excellent attention to complete incident report writingHave excellent problem-solving skillsComfortable handling emergencies in a calm manner – training & support will be providedAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations Benefits and Perks:Free and paid training programsRRSP contributions by employerGroup-life Insurance & Long-term DisabilityExtended Health & Dental coverageBC Transit ProPass (15% off monthly bus pass)National Bursary and Recognition programsFree uniform and dry-cleaning reimbursementReferral bonuses Powered by JazzHR LMrMeJ0RsL
