Becoming part of the Naturally Pacific team will allow you to engage in the hospitality industry within an expanding company that values every individual’s input and celebrates achievements collectively.The RoleAs a key member of our team The Assistant Food and Beverage Director is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Beverage Manager in overseeing the operations of all food and beverage outlets within the establishment, specifically including Carve Kitchen Meatery and Banquets. This role ensures high standards of service, quality, and profitability while maintaining a positive and productive work environment for staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.Your contributions to the team include:Assist in managing day-to-day front of house operations of food and beverage outlets, with a specific focus on Carve Kitchen Meatery and Banquets.Ensure efficient and effective service delivery, meeting, or exceeding guest expectations.Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.Additional tasks and duties as assigned.A few things we are looking for in a new team member:Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Serving it Right Certification.WSET certification an asset.Perks & BenefitsAt Naturally Pacific Resort, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the valuable contributions of our colleagues.
