We are excited to provide this opportunity to a qualified candidate.Location: Niagara, On Job Type: Full Time Permanent Wage: Negotiable based on experience Job Duties and Responsibility:The role includes new die builds, die repairs and die maintenance.Operate cranes to safely move and turn dies for new builds, preventative maintenance, repair, or operational needs.Fit and assemble parts using a variety of hand tools.Perform hand finishing, grinding, and polishing.Read and interpret drawings and specifications of tools, dies, and stamping tooling.Ability to operate multiple types of machines as required in day-to-day activities. These include mills, lathes, surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, jig grinders, etc.Be available for shift work and overtime as required.Strong communication skills including written and verbal.Commitment to continual improvement.Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Skills Required:5 years of experience required in metal stamping industries and certification is required. Ability to communicate in English; both verbal and written.Must possess toolbox and the appropriate tools required to carry out the duties of the position.Knowledge of progressive stamping, die-set servicing, and general maintenance.Maintain professionalism.Current enrolling in tool and die.
