Job Description:Job Description Physicians, the backbone of our healthcare system, have long been burdened by excessive administrative tasks and documentation requirements compounded by EMR regulations resulting in the widespread issue of physician burnout. The toll of spending 10-15 hours per week on these tasks has led to a concerning trend known as the “great resignation of healthcare,” with doctors leaving their positions due to overwhelming stress and exhaustion. Tali AI is dedicated to tackling the issue of physician burnout through the development of a voice-enabled virtual assistant designed specifically for physicians. Our voice enabled AI innovative assistant streamlines their professional lives by significantly minimizing the time spent on documentation and administrative tasks. We are looking for a seasoned UX Designer with over 10 years of experience to join our team as an Advisor. This part-time role will focus on developing and implementing design principles, guiding our Product Designers in the early stage of their career, and providing tactical feedback to enhance our product’s usability and aesthetic appeal.Who You Are:Over 10 years of experience in UX design, with a significant portion of that time spent in senior or advisory roles.Proven track record in developing design principles and design systems.Extensive experience in productivity apps, with a preference for those who have worked on mobile apps and Chrome extensions.Strong portfolio showcasing your work on productivity apps and design systems.Strong understanding of user-centered design processes and methodologies.Excellent communication and mentorship skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment. What You’ll Do:Lead the effort to create robust and innovative design principles that align with Tali’s product vision. Ensure these principles serve as a foundation for all design-related decisions and actions.Mentor and guide our UX designers in developing and implementing a cohesive design system based on the established design principles. Ensure the system is scalable, maintainable, and consistently applied across all platforms.Offer strategic and actionable feedback to UX designers to refine and improve their designs. Ensure the designs meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and visual appeal. Bonus Points For:Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to facilitate better communication with development teams.Previous experience building a product for clinicians or busy professionals in frontline such as recruiters, bankers and customer service.
