Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator at our Niagara Falls location, the successful candidate will support various HR functions and initiatives to ensure smooth operations within the department.If you are someone that likes a challenge and are continuously striving for excellence, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!What We Offer:Team events 50% off on CWD brands Key Responsibilities:Assist in screening resumes, attending interviews, and supporting recruitment and onboarding processesPrepare for meetings by conducting research and creating necessary documentsSupport HR projects and initiatives, including the implementation of HRISRespond to team member inquiries and direct them to the appropriate personAssist in team member onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork completionAssist the Human Resources Coordinator with job postings, interview scheduling, and preparation of interview packagesAct as a liaison with other departments to obtain and communicate information as neededAssist in policy and process creation within the HR departmentMaintain digital and electronic records of employeesAssist with the performance review processCoordinate training sessions and seminars for team membersCreate documents as requested by team membersEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, and ethical standardsAssist with other duties as assignedQualifications:College diploma or university degree in Human Resources or related fieldMinimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in the HR fieldProficiency in MS Office suiteAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awarenessAptitude for problem-solving This is a full-time 1-year fixed-term position working 40 hours a week on-site.
