Construction Manager

Job Description:Job Description We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager and Estimator to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating project cost, creating project schedules, managing construction teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget. The Construction Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with clients, architects. engineers and subcontractors to ensure that projects meet all specifications and requirements. Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementationConduct detail cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment and subcontractor cost.Create and Manage project schedules.Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure that project specifications are met.Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that may arise.Ensure safety and quality standards are met.Manage project budgets. Prepare and submit progress reports.Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costsMaintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Qualifications:Previous experience in construction management or other related fieldsKnowledge of construction processes, materials and techniques.Familiarity with construction management software. Proficient in EXCEL.Strong leadership qualitiesStrong negotiation skillsDeadline and detail-orientedKnowledge of safety regulations.Any management or engineering degree would be a good asset.
