- $22.43/HR starting wage; depending on experience
- No experience necessary! We train!
- FREE Training
- Hours are not guaranteed as driver starts out position as a spare driver
- Additional hours may available depending on route and experience
- Child ride along program may be available – speak to Manager for details
- No nights or weekend
About the Position
- Join our team of professional drivers dedicated to getting students to and from school safely
- Drivers enjoy the support of our industry leading technology to guide them through their daily routes
- Prioritize vehicle maintenance by conducting pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
- Must be physically fit as you may need to lift children and be able to move and tie down wheel
chairs which will require you to bend, kneel and stretch, push and pull
- Good verbal communication skills
- At least 21 years old
- Valid drivers license for at least 2 years
- Patience, Caring, attention to detail and communication skills are a must
- Undergo & pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination & Background checks
- You must provide your driving abstract from Access Nova Scotia
- Pass a medical for a class 2 license
- Completion of two tests at Access Nova Scotia before taking your road test for your class 2B license
