Job Summary:
Intact Couriers is seeking experienced Commercial Delivery Drivers and Home Appliance Technician to join our team! As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely and efficiently delivering and picking up items for our clients. Applicants must have experience driving 26 ft trucks with a G license and a clean abstract. The shift timings are 7 am to 4 pm, and cash tips are 100% yours to keep. Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
6 months of truck driving experience with a clean abstract
6 months of commercial moving experience
6 months of Home Appliance Technician experience
Punctual and reliable
You have an excellent understanding of technology and are proficient on a smartphone/tablet
Comfortable lifting 75 lbs
Ideal Hire’s Roles/Responsibilities:
As a Delivery Driver at Intact Couriers, your roles and responsibilities will include:
Performing a number of customer deliveries/pick-ups in a timely and efficient manner
Assisting with loading/unloading of items delivered to clients/warehouse
Completing pre and post-trip inspections of company vehicles and safely operating equipment
Maintaining Intact Couriers’ assets and property (facilities, vehicles, tools, and equipment)
Daily submission and completion of all required documentation accurately and promptly to the Operations Manager
Providing exceptional customer service during each and every customer interaction
Handling inquiries or concerns from customers professionally and redirecting where possible
Having an excellent understanding of technology and being proficient on a smartphone/tablet
Being comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Skills:
Valid commercial driver’s license (with a G license ) with a clean driving abstract
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Home Appliance Technician experience
