Danfoss Couriers in Ladysmith is hiring Seasonal Amazon Delivery Drivers, the employment is temporary and is expected to end December 30th 2023. Experience as a delivery driver is not required, we will train the right candidates. Danfoss Couriers & Freight is a B.C owned and operated delivery company. We are currently hiring full time responsible Delivery Drivers using world-class technology in our safe, reliable vans. Your Responsibilities: Successfully handle and deliver packages to customersComply with company procedures, policies, attendance requirements, and safety standardsOperate company vehicle to local customer locations as scheduled in timely, efficient mannerAbility to safely climb in and out of vehicle, navigate stairs oftenDeliver packages in all weather conditionsLift a maximum of 50 lbs repeatedly during a 10 hour work shiftHandle challenging workload and help other drivers as neededAbility to function calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, multi-tasking environmentFollow GPS navigation Your Qualifications: A positive can do attitude5 years of driving experience & authorized to work in CanadaA valid class 5 or 7 British Columbia driver’s licenseAble to speak and read EnglishMust be flexible with work schedules, including weekendsMust successfully pass driving records check and criminal background check Work Schedule: Only full time positions are availableTypical work schedule is 10 hours per day, 30 to 50 hours per week11 am start time, this may changeDrivers generally work 4 or 5 days per week including weekendsIn December you can work up to 60 hours per week Job Type and Salary: Full time$22.50 per hour Paid trainingDaily and Weekly Overtime Danfoss is an equal opportunity employer.
