SHIPPER & RECEIVER/ FORKLIFT $18-19 (Etobicoke)

Location: Etobicoke Area (Dundas St West & The West Mall)

Position: Shipper & Receiver

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday Fulltime, 9AM-5:30PM

Pay Rate: $18-19

EXPERIENCE RESUME AND LICENSE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Job Requirements:
– Must have valid WP, PR or citizenship
– Must have experience with forklift valid licenses (Counter Balance & Walkie)
– Fluent oral and written English (able to clearly comprehend and convey work) instructions)
– Needs to work well as part of a team
– Knowledge of all baked good commodities (ingredients and packaging)

Job Summary
– The Shipper ships all finished goods from the facility
– The Shipper decides what product is to be shipped to/from 3rd party storage
– He/she coordinates with the Packaging Supervisor re assembly of PO’s
– The incumbent verifies all customer orders vs. the products being shipped and reconciles differences using company forms and procedures
– The Shipper organizes/warehouses all incoming production to its proper location (e.g. organizes freezers and ensures FIFO according to date code)
– He/she works with the QA area to apply QC stickers to ingredient batches and/or packages, based on quality issues
– He/she is accountable for recording temperatures in the refrigerator and freezers twice a day
