Job Description:A River Valley Beverage Territory Manager is the face of our company. Ensures current customers have the right products and services plus can identify new markets. We are wanting a player complete our team. Someone who is a self-starter, motivated, willing to learn and achieve results while maintaining good customer relations. This is a great opportunity. Reporting to the VP of Sales the Territory Manager plans, directs and coordinates all aspects of sales with his/her territory – Retail and Licensee. Territory Manager Job Responsibilities:MANAGE TERRITORY ACCOUNTS Store list, route list, call frequency. Sales by sku & brand by store in existing territory. Achieves sales ratios, quotas and market share by selling products, suggesting programs and meeting customer needs. This involves listing of products, monitoring product inventory in stores and improvement of shelf location and facings.COMMUNICATION Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analyses. Maintaining records on territory and customer sales.MANAGAE TRADE SHOWS, EVENTS & STORE PROGRAMS The Territory Manager is responsible for Tasting Personnel and/or Merchandisers hired to work in their Territories including their direction, co-ordination and evaluation in accordance with RVB & AGLC policies, regulations and applicable laws.IN-STORE MERCHANDISING The Territory Manager is responsible for Merchandising requirements in their stores which includes but is not limited to Displays, Shelf Management, Point of Sale material and on-packing of RVB Merchandise and Services.PROSPECTING Build and form new partnerships with potential clients – On & Off Premise.AUTO & CELL PHONE ALLOWANCE PROVIDED Valid drivers license and out of town travel required. Qualifications:Ideally, three to five years of Industry experience in sales, customer service, or a related fieldExperience as a supervisor or managerStrong leadership qualitiesAbility to build rapport with clients Company Description River Valley Beverage works with international and local producers of Spirits, Wine, Beer and RTD in the expanding Beverage Alcohol sector. Remuneration: Base salary, commissions, performance related pay, benefits plan, car allowances, cell phone allowance.
