LINE AND PREP COOKS NEEDED ASAP

Jimmi’s Italian Kitchen in Napanee is urgently seeking talented and dedicated Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our team! If you have a passion for Italian cuisine and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you.

Position 1: Line Cook (Evenings)

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes according to menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen station.
Monitor food stock and inventory, ensuring ingredients are fresh and available.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and excellent food quality.
Assist with kitchen prep work and cleaning as needed.
Requirements:
Food Handler Certificate (required).
Evening availability (required).
Experience as a line cook in a busy kitchen environment is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and speed.

Position 2: Prep Cook (Mornings, Starting at 7am)

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients for daily food preparation.
Assist with prepping vegetables, sauces, proteins, and other kitchen items.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organize food storage areas.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure ingredients are prepped efficiently for line cooks.
Follow recipes and food safety standards to maintain high quality.
Assist with inventory control and keeping track of kitchen supplies.
Requirements:
Food Handler Certificate (required).
Morning availability starting at 7am (required).
Previous kitchen prep experience is an asset but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $19 – $21 per hour, based on experience hourly-based tips.
