Seeking a part time nanny to mesh with our family!

Nice to meet you! My name is Ashley and our family is searching for a nanny working in Calgary, Alberta.
My husband and I have two young sons and 2 medium sized dogs. We are looking for someone available on M/W/F with some evening flexibility. We’re located on the edge of Calgary in the NW.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with animals and managing the kids. It is important that the right applicant is comfortable taking the kids out of the house on outings, providing cooking/meal prep, comfortable with light housework, is able to create an engaging and creative environment to hold our toddlers attention and is genuinely happy to be working with our kiddos and family! 

What your typical day may look like:
9am: Arrive at the house, prepare/pack for the day, etc.
9:30am: Head out for an activity (park, zoo, recreation centre, etc.)
12pm: Arrive home to prep and serve lunch
1pm: Naps / light housework (laundry, dishes, etc.)
3pm: Afternoon activity or craft at the house
4pm: Cook and prepare supper
5pm: Wrap up / dishes / etc.

We have a fun playroom for the kids and you to play in and it is importent to us that the kids get fresh air daily.

Who our ideal candidate would look like:
-2 years experience as a nanny or childhood educator
-Comfortable creating age appropriate activities, games, crafts to hold both kids interest and attention
-Brings a jump in attitude where you can engage the kids and maintain their attention with different activities and without direction. It is also highly important that you learn our routine and can help around the house where you see things that need to be done without being asked.

-Loves animals
-Enjoys cooking and meal prepping
-Comfortable at a swimming pool
-Clean driving abstract with reliable vehicle
-First aid & CPR trained
-Ability to provide a criminal record check with vulnerable sector
– Willingness / Ability to travel with our family is a bonus
