Parts Picker / Packaging

Partition Systems Ltd has an immediate opening for a Parts Picker / Packager located in Edmonton, Alberta.

This is a detail-oriented production environment, where we primarily deal in aluminum extrusions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform quality control on various extrusions or parts.
• Assemble various profile assemblies.
• Package completed material to be shipped to sites.
• Component Fabrication
• Stock / Inventory checks & ordering.
• Cut a variety of (Aluminum) parts & components to dimensions using a pre-generated part cut-list (Chop Saw)
• Parts picking for cut room.

Position Details:
• Permanent
• Full-time with over-time available
• Weekend shift may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience recommended but not necessary. Will provide in house training.
• Working with Aluminum Extrusions is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
• Understanding and working knowledge of measuring equipment is required (Tape Measure, MM & Inches)
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Must have STRONG attention to detail.
• Able to lift over 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for over 8 to 10 hours.
