Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a massage therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being through therapeutic massage techniques. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop customized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to promote relaxation and healing. Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ medical histories and physical conditions to determine the most appropriate massage techniques
Developing personalized treatment plans based on clients’ individual needs, preferences, and goals
Performing various massage techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and trigger point therapy, to address clients’ specific concerns
Providing guidance and education to clients on self-care techniques, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance the benefits of massage therapy
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, and physicians, as part of a multidisciplinary team approach to care
Upholding professional standards of practice and adhering to all regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines
Requirements:
Completion of a recognized massage therapy program and current registration/licensure as a Massage Therapist
Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as they relate to massage therapy
Ability to adapt massage techniques to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others achieve optimal health and wellness
Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Favorable Split

Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
