Renovation Carpenter Wanted

We are currently hiring for the following position:

Journeyman carpenter/Renovation Lead.

Exterior Finishing is looking to develop a renovation crew. This position is an exciting opportunity for the right individual who can lead that effort. This position would be responsible for producing estimates for customers as well as leading a crew on site to complete the work. This position is expected to grow along with the work so there will be an opportunity for advancement from working in the field to full time estimator and foreman.

Individuals must be able to work independently as well as a supervisor/lead hand on a crew. Individuals must have experience in all aspects of interior home renovations, i.e.: kitchen, bathroom renovations. Individuals must also have experience in building construction, i.e., forming, framing, and finishing.

Applicant must meet all the following criteria:

– Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident
– Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
– Bondable – criminal records check will be required
– Great communication skills – both oral and written
– Able to train an apprentice in all basic carpentry methods
– Willing to learn new skills and work as part of a team
