Companion for senior in the Cumberland area (Ottawa)

Hi, I am currently looking for a part-time companion for my 88-year-old mother, who lives in the
Cumberland village area (Ottawa) . She is very independent-minded and still mobile but she is recovering from a
recent surgery. She does receive regular nursing care. She is a very caring person and respectful of
others and would like similar attributes in a companion/helper. Aside from being a companion, light
duties may be asked of you e.g., help prepare a meal and or do some dusting, vacuuming and or laundry.
She currently has people to help her shower so this task will not be required of you. Flexible schedule
and salary are negotiable.
What is required for this job is
 access to a vehicle
 patience
 nonsmoker
 compassion
 good manners
 respect for elderly
 English working knowledge. Italian is an asset.
