Full-Time Prep Cook Needed – WEEKDAYS ONLY $20.00/hr!!

Job Title: Prep Cook

Are you passionate about food and providing exceptional meal experiences? Royalty Food Services, a leading provider of corporate catering services, is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Prep Cook to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

– Assisting in the food preparation process in accordance with our company standards and health/safety regulations.
– Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
– Preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, seasoning, and otherwise preparing them according to recipes or the chef’s instructions.
– Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
– Assisting in inventory management, including restocking items as needed.
– Working collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure that food is prepared to the highest quality.
– Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Certified Food Handler
– A minimum of 2-year experience in a similar role in the food industry.
– Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
– Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
– A team player with good communication skills.
– Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
– Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and procedures, including various cooking methods.
– Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
