Accounts Payable Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst or Accounts Payable Specialist to fulfill an 2-month contract located in Alliston, ON.
In this role, you will be focused on supporting the Shared Services Accounts Payable team, ensuring processing of entries in a timely manner. 

Accounts Payable Processing Analyst
Location:   Alliston ON
Pay:            $28.88/hr
Hours:        8:30am – 4:30pm (Mon – Fri)
                  Hybrid remote (1 day in office 4 from home)

Job Scope
Completing month end internal and external reporting. Processing and allocating costs for Raw Materials department inventory used for production.

What you’ll be doing:

• Complete month end reports as assigned
• Contact suppliers regarding outstanding invoices
• Work with Shared Services team to ensure accurate AP entry
• Work with suppliers on pricing issues on AP invoices, investigate and correct suspended items
• Complete month-end invoices and reports for accrual / GL clearance
• Support yearly pricing updates and validation

You Offer: 

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word)
• 2 years’ experience in inventory, purchasing or sales administration
• Post-secondary education in Business and/or equivalent experience
• Able to work under stressful situations and tight deadlines
• Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical ability, reasoning, and persuasive skills
• Organized, can work independently, managing multiple tasks
• High attention to detail
