Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, vibratory rollers and small engine equipment.
– Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
– Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
– Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
– Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency and safety.
– Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; certification in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment maintenance is preferred.
– Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or similar role.
– Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engine components.
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Valid driver’s license with clean abstract (DZ License is a plus)
