Job Overview
Transway Transport is seeking dedicated and skilled transport drivers to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, along with the ability to handle various types of freight.
Experience
Must possess a valid AZ license.
Minimum of 1 year of verified driving experience with a clean CVOR and abstract, supported by a reference from your current employer.
Passion for safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Strong work ethic and flexibility to adapt to different routes and delivery schedules.
Experience handling freight and understanding logistics processes is an asset.
A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required for this position.
US visa (preferred).
Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents during transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles on public roads.
