Are you ready to have fun with an amazing set of twins? If you’re energetic, love adventure, and can keep up with two lively toddlers, we’d love to hear from you!

About Us: We’re two dads with a boy-girl set of 15-month-old twins living in a spacious new home with a fenced yard in a highly walkable neighborhood in Markham. One of us has been home full-time since the twins were born, while the other has been working flexible hours from home. But now we’re both back to work full-time, which means we need some help!

Some days, you may find one or both of us upstairs working, and on other days, you’ll have the house to yourself to care for our munchkins. Our twins are full of energy, and we need someone who can match that vibe and bring the same level of joy and enthusiasm into our home.

About You: You’re an experienced nanny looking for a long-term commitment (2-3 years) with a family that has twins and a friendly dog. You love taking daily walks in all seasons, playing outdoors and indoors, and enjoy teaching, coaching, guiding, and loving our kids just as much as we do. You have a fun, upbeat personality and are totally comfortable getting loud and excited with our twins.

Reliability and punctuality are essential to you, and you have experience working with twins or siblings close in age. You understand that managing twins is quite different from managing children of different ages – both need your attention at the same time, and you’re up for the challenge!

What You’ll Help With:

Twin Care

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
Routine care: meals, playtime, naps, diaper changes, and tidying up.
Organizing daily outings like playdates, EarlyON visits, library visits, and walks.
Household Support

Folding and putting away the twins’ laundry.
Setting aside clothes ready to donate or store.
Sweeping the kitchen and stairs daily and running our robot vacuums during nap time.
Maintaining tidy kitchen counters, unloading the dishwasher in the morning, and loading it after meals.
Meal Prep

Preparing meals for the twins and helping with family meals – we all eat the same for lunch and dinner!
Chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, seasoning proteins, and other simple tasks to help us cook.
Organizing and restocking the fridge.
Creating a list of groceries as needed.
Qualifications We’re Looking For:

Background check focused on child safety.
Infant/child CPR certificate (valid within the last 12 months).
Experience caring for multiple young children at once.
ECE or equivalent formal training preferred.
Fluent in English, with basic knowledge of French or Spanish.
Valid passport (or able to acquire by February).
OPTIONAL: Driver’s license and insurance.
Pay & Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM.
Top rate: $25/hour, based on experience and agreed responsibilities.
Pay is given weekly via e-transfer with a summary email.
Pay-for-days-worked basis: You won’t work on days the kids are sick as we stay home.
Paid holidays include Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas/Boxing Day, Family Day, Easter, Victoria Day, Canada Day, and Civic Holiday.
Minimum of one week off between Christmas and New Year.

Our Hiring Process:

Record a short, casual video introducing yourself to us. We’re not expecting a polished video – just be yourself!
This helps us understand your English skills, personality, and background.
Video chat is a daily part of our family life – we use it for regular check-ins and staying connected with our nanny during the day, so you need to be comfortable using it.
Phone Interview

We’ll reach out to top candidates for a quick chat.
Play Date Interview

Come to our home for an in-person play date with the twins. This allows us all to get a feel for each other and see if we’re a good fit.
We’re looking for someone who’s genuinely interested in being a part of our family for the long term. If you’re not ready to make at least a 2-3 year commitment, this might not be the best fit. But if you are, we can’t wait to meet you and start this exciting journey together!
