Dispatcher position – Guelph, Ontario

Full time – Monday to Friday (Day shift)

Key Responsibilities-
Route Planning: Develop efficient routes for drivers based on factors such as location, distance, and traffic conditions.

Driver Assignment: Assign drivers to specific routes or shipments, considering their availability, experience, and qualifications.

Communication: Maintain regular communication with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.

Shipment Tracking: Monitor the progress of shipments, ensuring they are delivered on time and according to customer specifications.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during transit, such as delays, mechanical problems, or weather conditions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver hours, and other relevant information.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including hours of service and safety standards.
