Early morning snow removal contractor 30 Dollars/Hour

We are looking for people to shovel snow early mornings for the season. This is not cash work, its a part time job. You must have a vehicle and be able to drive. We are looking for people that live in or close to these areas ( Scarboro, Mount royal, Elbow park, Lakeview, Discovery Ridge, Aspen, Bridlewood, Varsity, Brentwood, Mount pleasant). If you find yourself going out of town a lot on weekends or just in general then this probably wont work.

Below is everything you need to know about the position. If you are interested please get back to me with what neighbourhood you live in and we will go from there. Everything is done with a shovel that we provide to you so no tools required for the job

Expectations
Contractor is expected to provide his or her own vehicle and fuel
Contractor is to check for snow each and every morning at 4am. If there is snow then you go out. If there is no snow, you go back to bed
If there is snow you MUST email the office and inform us that you are heading out to take care of your sites.
Once you are done you MUST email the office again to inform us that you are done and summarize your hours (i.e. “I am done, I worked from 4am to 6:30 am, 2.5 hours)
We also need the in and out times you were at each house in your summary ( this is very important)

Wage
30 dollars will be paid for each hour worked from the time you leave your house to the time you leave your last site.
If you must use help (only on the bigger snowfalls, or with prior arrangement with office) your help will be paid 20 dollars per hour, paid to you and you will pay them

Bonuses
There is no entitlement to bonuses, they are only earned.

Monthly
If you are reliable and do your snow each and every expected time within a month you could earn 5 dollars per house
Seasonal
If you are reliable and do your snow each and every time within a month you bank 5 dollars per house per month.
This bonus is only paid out and earned if you are still shoveling at end of season

If you desire to leave for a period of time and would still like to earn the bonus you can have someone cover for you. They must be trained so that the sites are performed in a timely fashion. They will be paid the hourly rate (30) as explained above. You can split any bonuses if earned with them at your discretion.
You can reserve the right to clear snow the night before if the snow has stopped for the day and isn’t forecasted to continue, or in times where a lot has already fallen and more is expected
