Senior care in Barrhaven

Note this is a rent exchange, please read entirely before responding -in Barrhaven

99yr old senior living in a single home requires part time home care support.
You will provide 6-8 hours per week (up to 30 hours per month) of caregiving in exchange for free rent in a private loft space. The following is provided for the caretaker:
Private bedroom & private bathroom in the loft upstairs
Private living room upstairs
Wifi and access to laundry machines
1 parking space in the driveway
Shared kitchen -you will have your own cupboards

Weekly responsibilities:
Bring delivered groceries inside and put away
Go through items in the fridge and toss anything old
Take out the recycling and/or garbage bins every Monday
Bring the bins back into the garage on Tuesday
Drive client to medical appointments and assist in registration and getting him to the right location, wait for him and drive him home (apts are 1-2x per month)

More than once per week tasks:
Meal prep a few meals twice a week
Bring all household garbage into the bins in the garage 2-3x per week
Tidy up the kitchen most evenings
Check in on client to make sure he has everything he needs
Communicate with family members (2 of us) if you or he need anything
If there is an emergency, assist client to call 911 first, and then us

Note the client already has daily psw and/or nursing care, and bi-weekly home cleaning
