Maintenance Worker – Part-Time

Are you handy and a jack of all trades? Do you like taking pride in repairs and maintenance that you can do? We have a great opportunity for someone who has experience in repairs and maintenance, on a part-time basis. This could be a perfect job for a handy person who wants to be semi-retired or have a shorter work week.
We are hiring for a person to do maintenance at our 44 unit townhouse property in Guelph. The position calls for two (2) days a week in Guelph (Thursday and Friday) 15 hours per week.
If you are looking for a rewarding part time position at a townhouse complex with great members, and have demonstrated experience with the following, we want to hear from you.
 Secondary school diploma
 proven experience in minor plumbing, carpentry, general repair work, janitorial practices
 working Mechanical knowledge of HVAC
 General maintenance – jack of all trades
 General cleaning and completing unit turnover repairs
 Knowledge of Fire safety systems, W.H.M.I.S., health and safety procedures
 Complete work orders and assist with capital projects
 Ability to lift 50 pounds
 Ability to work at heights (training provided)
 Able to read and write in fluent English and complete work orders, reports, etc.
 Successful completion of Criminal Reference Check
 Good people and communication skills dealing with a diverse group of people
 Must have own tools, reliable vehicle with liability insurance and valid driver’s license.
