DISPATCH PLANNER AND SUPERVISOR

We are hiring Load Planner and Dispatch Supervisor.

Below are some of qualities:
Load Planner
Route Optimization: Analyze and design efficient transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize delivery efficiency.
Load Configuration: Determine the best way to load vehicles or containers, considering weight distribution and space utilization.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory management teams to ensure the availability of goods for shipment.
Data Analysis: Use software tools to analyze shipping data, forecast demand, and improve load planning processes.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including weight limits and safety standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, warehousing) to ensure alignment on logistics plans.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain necessary shipping documentation and records for tracking and reporting purposes.
Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise related to loading or routing, making adjustments as necessary.
Dispatch Supervisor
Team Management: Oversee and manage the dispatch team, ensuring effective performance and providing training as needed.
Scheduling: Create and manage daily dispatch schedules, coordinating with drivers and ensuring timely deliveries.
Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and other stakeholders, facilitating smooth operations.
Monitoring Deliveries: Track shipments in transit, resolving any delays or issues that may arise.
Performance Analysis: Analyze dispatch performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
Reporting: Prepare reports on delivery performance, vehicle usage, and other relevant metrics for management review.
Crisis Management: Handle emergencies and unexpected situations, coordinating responses to minimize disruptions.
Both roles require strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to ensure that logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.
