looking for cleanup labourer for hedge trimming company

Looking for one cleanup labourer or ( trimmer operator )until its snows
Typical ending for the season is mid to late November
30-40hrs a week at $20 an hour cash at the end of the day. We work Monday to Friday and weekend if we loose a day to rain or bad weather, so we average 5-6 days a week (depending on energy levels of the crew)
This is a temporary position, if interested the possibility of coming back next season
Looking for someone to start asap. We will bring you in for a day and assess if you are a good fit to continue on until the end of the season
If you have prior experience operating a hedge trimmer there is the possibility for getting paid more (only after you can demonstrate you can trim) we have a process we follow at every job and the work needs to be done thoroughly, efficiently and at a fast pace to keep up with the demand of our customers waiting for their work to be completed.
We work all over the city, mostly in one general area for the day, we try to stay west end but we work all over Ottawa.
You can either drive to the jobs or meet, park your in kanata at my place for the day and ride in the truck
Your duties will include:
•Raking up clippings and debris from trimming
•Dumping bins into trailer
•Moving and carrying ladders/Equipment
•Using battery blower to aid your cleanup
•Emptying trailer of debris at the city dump
•Ensuring the battery equipment is charged
•Cleaning up at a good pace and efficiently
•Remain professional on properties
• Wear appropriate clothing (hi vis is preferred)
•Bring work gloves or some can be provided for you
•Long sleeve shirts and gloves (Mandatory if you are working in garden beds)
The job requires you to be physical and fit.
Punctuality and being reliable are extremely important

It’s the most ideal time of year for this type of work, nice cool weather, clients are very appreciative and may tip at the end of the job. Great workout while being outdoors. Very laidback environment if everyone is doing their part of the job.
