Floor covering installer – GTA and South Ontario

Tile Pro Flooring – a Tile and Flooring Contractor in the GTA is seeking an experienced, meticulous and diligent flooring installer for residential, commercial and institutional projects to install carpet, wood, linoleum, vinyl tiles. other resilient floor coverings inside the buildings. Must have graduated high school and possess at least two years of confirmed work experience. Own tools, driving licence. Own vehicle is an asset. Full-time position, 40 hrs/week, $20 /hr. Daily schedule varies: projects all over GTA and Southern Ontario from Niagara to Oshawa to Barry.

Job duties include but not limited to inspecting and measuring surfaces to be covered, measuring, cutting and fastening sub-floor, underlays and underpadding, measuring, cutting and installing carpeting using hand or machine stitcher, seaming iron, bonding tape or other bonding materials; stretch carpeting using knee-kicker or power stretcher and secure carpeting to floor or other surfaces using staple gun, measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools, Install hardwood floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means; inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, estimate material and labour costs.
