Our client in the electrical manufacturing industry is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join their team. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be part of the Production department supporting the Custom Switchboards team. The ideal candidate will have excellent wiring abilities, be able to read and interpret one-line diagrams, and have a commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Location: Milton, ON

Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday to Friday 

What’s the Job?

  • Wiring, mounting, and troubleshooting complex electrical components and sub-assemblies of Custom Switchboards
  • Reading and interpreting one-line diagrams and customer drawing packages
  • Determining how and where to run, connect and terminate wires for electrical devices on wiring pans and inside switchboard structures
  • Identifying design issues in the provided schematics and raising them through the correct channels
  • Performing functional tests such as continuity checks and wire pull tests

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in medium to complex non-standard wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
