Forklift Operator, Weekend Shifts Only Friday/Saturday

Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our client in Cambridge Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, move, and organize products within our warehouse or facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Work Environment: Weekend Overnight Friday/Saturday 11:30pm-11:30am,
Saturday/Sunday 11:30am-11:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries.
• Move products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Keep accurate inventory records and document all material movements.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as packaging, shipping, and organizing inventory.
• Follow company and OSHA safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet operational needs and deadlines.

Qualifications:
• Valid forklift operator certification (counterbalance experience is required).
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation experience, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic math and computer skills are an asset for inventory management.
