Non-Ferrous Scale Attendant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Non-Ferrous Scale Attendant to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for weighing and processing non-ferrous scrap materials brought to our yard. You will ensure accurate measurements and assist customers with their transactions while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately weigh incoming non-ferrous scrap materials using scales.
• Record weights and relevant data in our inventory management system.
• Assist customers with unloading materials and provide excellent service.
• Verify the type and quality of scrap materials received.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scale area.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth processing and inventory management.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a scale attendant or similar role is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
