Snow Removal Positions – Salary

Do you enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced and physical environment? If so,

Company: Elite Yards is a landscaping company that specializes in residential
property maintenance in Calgary’s SW. We pride ourselves on great service and
a great team atmosphere and are looking to add like-minded people to our
team.

Position Type: Full Time

Start Date – October 15 or November 1, 2024, depending on employee availability

Description of Duties:
– Working individually or as part of a crew to perform snow removal
– Keeping a steady pace in order to complete jobs on schedule
– Interacting with clients, neighbours, community members
– Using a variety of power equipment to complete maintenance as
required
– Maintaining and cleaning vehicles and equipment as required
– Tracking time spent on properties, equipment issues, consumables used,
issues on site, customer concerns, etc.
– Successfully complete company training program

Skills and Requirements:
– Experience with outdoor power equipment
– Labour experience in any field
– Ability to work long hours when required
– Ability to work weekends when conditions require
– Current driver’s license and clean driving abstract
– Consistently active cellphone with data plan
– Outgoing personality, able to communicate and work as part of a team
– Ability to accept direction

Additional Requirements:
– While all candidates will be considered, preference will be given to
candidates who own their own truck and use it for their snow route;
additional compensation will be provided for this, as well as fuel costs
-Personal winter gear is required – Gloves, toques, boots, etc

Compensation:
– $3,000 per month
– If you have a GST number and WCB number, you could also work for us as a subcontractor
