Since 2005, eCycle Solutions has been committed to protecting and improving our environment through safe, convenient, and cost-effective recycling methods for electronic and electrically powered assets. Our Maintenance team is currently looking for a seasoned Industrial Millwright Mechanic to help support our Mississauga facility.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Resolve motor, pump, conveyor and hydraulic problems.
Must have excellent mechanical, electrical & process controls background with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and issues.
Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
Ensure high level technical support to lower-level technicians.
Show expertise in working with team and independently
Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.
Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards.
Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment
Ability to Weld and use a cutting torch as necessary
Handle repairs and complete work order in a timely manner.
Troubleshooting, including such areas as PLC, servo, motor controls, vision systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, equipment and other related systems.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
Adhere to company Health and Safety Protocols
Requirement
Must be available to work overtime as needed.
Must be a self-starter, work well with all levels, and be well organized.
Must be able to operate man lifts and fork trucks.
Good physical condition- must be able to lift 50lbs
Must have 8000 hours and a certificate preferred
Proficiency in electrical systems, logic controllers, and industrial electrician work
Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role
Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
Familiarity with welding techniques and boiler operations
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
