Multiple Positions – Inside Sales – Driver – Warehouse/Yard

Premier Project Supply Ltd. is a locally owned and operated distribution centre in Red Deer, AB, supplying structural steel, sheet & plate, pipe, valves, and fittings to the agricultural, oilfield, fabrication, and welding industries.
We are currently recruiting for multiple positions: Inside Sales, Driver, and Warehouse/Yard. We require the following for all positions:
– Own transportation to work at our location.
– Excellent attendance record.

– Willingness to learn and take direction
– Work independently without supervision
– Strong ability to prioritize.
– Available to work at our location and not from home.
All positions are Monday – Friday 7 am – 4 pm with one weekend rotation. We are closed all statutory holidays.

INSIDE SALES
– Previous sales experience
– Excellent customer service skills
– Knowledge of steel/valve/fittings/pipe products
– Knowledge of ERPlain would be an asset.
– Proficient with Microsoft Office
– Inventory Management
– Numeracy skills
DRIVER
You will be responsible for delivering our product to customers within Central Alberta during these hours. No overnight travel, you will be home every night. In order to ensure you can be added to our insurance policy, you must have the following:
– Class 1 Driver’s License
– No more than two minor convictions in the last three years
– No at-fault claims in the last three years
– Confirmation of and use and/or ownership of same type of vehicle for at least three consecutive years
– Current insurance history – minimum three years with similar class.
– Perform regular checks on vehicle
– Must be able to safely secure your load
– Work with warehouse and sales staff to ensure orders are ready for delivery
– Assist with loading product
– Submit required paperwork to sales staff after product is delivered
WAREHOUSE/YARD WORKER
– Perform shipping/receiving
– Work with driver to ensure truck is loaded
– Pick orders and ensure they are ready for driver
– Forklift ticket is a requirement
– Knowledge of steel/valve/fittings/pipe products
– Be able to use a chop saw and read calipers
– Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard
– Valid Class 5 license with necessary qualifications for insurance
